About us

🔄 Sustainable and community-driven – Activities adapt to the needs and wishes of the community.

Facts Behind the Mission:
“Free hobby groups were, according to the study, places free from bullying, discrimination, and racism for many children who experience these elsewhere. In low-income families, the main reason for participation is the fact that the activities are free (31%).”
(Me Säätiön selvitys, 2025)
“The more challenging the family’s life situation, the more likely the child has no access to hobbies. Yet, the impact of hobbies would be significant — for the child, their family, and society as a whole.”
(SOS-Lapsikylä, 2025)
“More than one in three young people said they had not started a hobby due to lack of money, and more than one in four had quit for the same reason. These figures are on the rise.”
“Half of the young people without a hobby would like to have one. 45% can’t afford it, and 34% don’t know what hobby options are available in their area.”
(Nuorisobarometri, 2017/2023)
